Hello Everyone. I just purchased Dell Vostro 420 Desktop Computer with a Sound Blaster X FI Xtreme audio Soundcard. Has anyone had experiences with this type of soundcard? I can't play audio games on it verry well at all because not all the sounds pan like they are supposed to. In Super Liam, everything iis in the center of the stario field. But when I play music, it sounds just fine. Any suggestions please.
I don't have the same soundcard but I do have a similar one from the same series. I must confess that apart from GMA's Loanwolf though I haven't really used it a great deal with audio games. All the ones I have tried though have worked fine.
The only thing I can think to suggest is looking round for updated drivers to see if that helps. It may well do. Certainly worth giving a go anyway.

I figured it out. I lowered the Direct Sound Hardware Acceloration from 100 percent to 33 percent. A think this soundcard was two power for the games Well Problem salved. Thank you for the Response.
